Set of Glass spheres by Glashutte Limburg

Set of very large (45 cm) and vintage modern hand blown glass spheres or pendants by Glashütte Limburg (Germany, 1970s), model P197. The lights are labelled on the inside. The amber / brown smoked glass is completely intact and executed in an organic air bubble pattern. The large spheres are mounted on a brass armature.

The rod(s) and armature are made of polished brass. The rods are modular, the length is variable. We have a total of 9 brass rods, each rod is 60cm in height. Smallest height of the total pendant is 105 cm: 45cm glass sphere, plus 60 cm brass element. Largest height is 345cm: sphere plus 5 rods. Each pendant has four sockets for medium or standard screw base bulbs

Set van twee hand geblazen grote ronde bollen van Glashütte Limburg, ’70 Duitsland. De set, model P197, is in zeer goede conditie. De amber kleurige glazen bollen hebben een organisch ‘spijker’ patroon in het glas. Het messing kapje en de messing staaf zijn in zeer goede conditie. De messing staven zijn modulair. We hebben er 9 in voorraad, elke met een lengte van 60cm. De minimale lengte is 105 cm (staaf + bol). Merk aanwezig. Elke bol heeft 4 standaard fittingen voor lampen.
