Iconic Bauhaus style and Minimalist armchair in black and white by Radboud Van Beekum for Pastoe, armchair model FM61, in steel and canvas, The Netherlands, 1981.  This Minimalist design was first presented at the 1980 Triennial in Poznan. After which Pastoe started the production. The frame consist of white coated steel rods. Back and seating are executed in black canvas, some light traces of us as shown on photos.

Radboud Van Beekum (1950-) was influenced by De Stijl and Gerrit Rietveld, which is clearly visible at this minimalistic model. The FM60 series was a reaction and progression of the red-blue chair by Rietveld. This iconic ‘Cube chair’ of Van Beekum was also produced with a leather seating.

Moderne Iconische Bauhaus stijl fauteuil van Radboud van Beekum voor Pastoe. De fauteuil is uitgevoerd in zwart canvas op een wit metalen frame, model FM61, 1981. . Lichte gebruikssporen op het frame en canvas, maar overal in goede staat. Het minimalistische design werd voor het eerst in 1980 gepresenteerd op de Trienale van Poznan.
