Louis van Teeffelen chairs in felt

Set of two Mid-Century Modern Louis van Teeffelen chairs, designed for WeBe, Holland, 1955-1960s. The pair (model Tolga) is completely restored and re-upholstered in an excellent light blue felt fabric by Kvadrat (type: Divina MD 0813). The solid teak frame and bent armrests really make the design. The model does have threats of the Ib Kofod Larsen designs of that period as well. Louis van Teeffelen motivated WeBe to integrate Danish influences and craftsmanship in their furniture making, which not only paid off, but had a big influence on the Dutch industry as well.

DUTCH / NEDERLANDS: Set van twee Louis van Teeffelen fauteuils in teak en opnieuw gestoffeerd in een dikke meubel vilt (Divina) van Kvadrat. Het setje is geheel gerestaureerd, het teak is opnieuw behandeld met een Deense was. De fraaie armleggers lopen achter de rug langs. Het model  heeft wat weg van de Ib Kofod Larsen items uit die tijd. Model Tolga, 1955-1960 voor WeBe.
