Large solid teak wooden ice bucket or ice bowl, designed by Danish artist Birgit Krogh in 1979 for Woodline Denmark. Woodline commissioned Krogh in 1979 for a special collection in teak such as platters, bowls and this ice bucket. Brand present on bottom of the piece. The lid of the bucket opens and closes very well, two handles on the side which create a beautiful symmetry. The original red/orange colored plastic bowl (height 11.5cm / inch) is present, that can be taken out. Beautiful Scandinavian Modern tableware in line with the Danish design history of Jens Quistgaard and Johannes Andersen.
