Black Furniture

Desk Light in manner of Louis Kalff

Desk Light in manner of Louis Kalff, 1960s

Mid-Century Modern, Industrial desk or table lamp produced by Philips in the 1960s and attributed to Louis Kalff. White metal lampshade and black metal foot, Dutch (European) plug. The listed item is in very good shape, light traces of use on the metal, yet well preserved. The Z design of the listed item shows much resemblance with the well known Louis Kalff ‘Decora’ and ‘Diplomat’ lights, as does the light shade features the iconic shape of the Evoluon building in Eindhoven (Netherlands) which Louis Kalff was given the direction and execution for.

Nederlandse stekker.
