Modern and minimalist BR02 sofa by Martin Visser for Spectrum, Bergeijk (NL). Seating can be pulled forward (approx 20cm) so the depth of the seating can be fully used as (day)bed. This Sofa is completely re-upholstered in a yellow (no.66) Ploegwool on a chromed round metal frame, with additional cubical moss green armrests (in Kvadrat Remix). Great comfort and Dutch Design.

Martin Visser designed his first modern minimalist sleeping sofa for ’t Spectrum in 1956. In the following years he changed and improved his design until he designed the BR02 (round frame) and BR03 (square frame) in 1960. Visser was inspired by architects such as Rietveld, Les Corbusier, Mies van der Rohe, and artist as Mondriaan.

Moderne en minimalistische Br02 sofa door Martin Visser voor Spectrum, Bergeijk. De zitting van de bank kan ca. 20cm naar voren worden getrokken, waardoor de volledige diepte van de zitting gebruikt kan worden, als slaapbank. Deze bank is geheel opnieuw gestoffeerd, stof, vulling en webbing. Origineel Br02 frame, met geheel nieuwe stoffering. De gele Ploegwool (nr.66) combineert mooi met het mosgroene armkussen uitgevoerd in Kvadrat (collectie Remix).
