Martin Visser sofa BZ53

Martin Visser sofa BZ53 industrial vintage

The listed item is an example of a BZ53 sofa by Martin Visser we realised for a client. We have more black frames in stock which we can upholster in a fabric of your choice. Upholstery time is approx. 5 weeks. The BZ53 sofa is the petit version of the BR03 and BR02 series. Although the BZ53 is not extendable to a day bed, it has a length of 160cm. All our re-upholstered sofa’s are completely redone: new webbing or new clippings of the flat spirals underneath the seating, completely new interior and new fabric. You can order the sofa including or excluding the separate, cubic armrest. And it is optional to choice a different color or fabric for this armrest.

Martin Visser’s designs have an industrial appearance, but were mostly handmade. Honest use of materials, simple construction and lack of decoration reflect the fact that Visser had great admiration for Berlage and the pre-war functionalism.

We hanteren hele hoge standaarden. Los armkussen in afwijkende kleur of stof mogelijk.
